Yes. BACtrack Skyn is collecting data at all times when the device is powered on. If their Skyn becomes unpaired with their iOS device, they can re-pair the Skyn without losing any data. Make sure to follow these steps below to re-pair with their Skyn.
- Log out of Skyn app
- Turn Skyn OFF
- Go to iOS Bluetooth settings, and FORGET all Skyns
- Toggle Bluetooth on and off
- Restart iPhone
- THEN try to pair again totally fresh by following the in-app prompts to turn on and re-pair with the Skyn
As long as this is done within 72 hours of the unpairing event, no data will be lost. The Skyn hardware can store approximately 72 hours worth of data.
